Khan Academy teaches topics. Linear equations, as a subject. Athena teaches question types: two-step linear equations where the variable shows up on both sides and the trap is a sign error in step two. We teach what actually appears on the SAT, in the exact shape it appears in.

College Board tests you. They do not teach you. Athena gives you the method for each question type, shows you the trap it was built around, then hands you focused practice. Diagnostic, then teaching, then reps. Not reps forever and hoping something sticks.

Athena is built to work on its own, and most students improve using only Athena. If you want one on one help on top of it, that is your call. Nothing in the system assumes a tutor is also in the room.

Yes. Parents get their own login with study time, predicted score, weak areas, and progress over time. They do not see question level data, so students still have room to be bad at something in private.
